N.B.: Upon successfully completing the study of level Elementary I, II, Intermediate I, II or Advanced I, II, Students will be conferred with a Completion Certificate of the relevant level.
II. Purposes of Each Grade Teaching
Elementary：
- Master Pinyin and 2400 or so vocabulary and Chinese characters.
- Master 185 grammatical items and basic Chinese grammatical structure.
- Process basic Chinese communicative skills so as to solve problems encountered in daily life.
- Attain HSK level 3 to 5.
Intermediate：
- Master 2850 more vocabulary and Chinese characters.
- Master another 80 grammatical items.
- Could listen, speak, read, write and comprehend Chinese for daily, academic and working purposes.
- Comprehend certain Chinese culture and semantic connotations.
- Attain HSK level 6 to 8.
Advanced：
- Master 2760 more vocabulary and Chinese characters.
- Master 100 more grammatical items.
- Could express themselves precisely.?
- Process profound understanding of Chinese culture, enable to think in Chinese.
- Attain HSK level 9 to 10.
